This notice explains how Colombia Exploring handles personal information when you contact us, plan a tour, or subscribe to updates.

Information you share

Our inquiry forms collect your name, email address, tour interests, preferred travel dates, group size, and message. If you contact us by email or WhatsApp, we receive the information you choose to share there. Please do not send payment card details, identity documents, or sensitive medical information through the website inquiry form.

How information is used

We use inquiry details to respond to your request, check availability, prepare an itinerary and quote, and coordinate your booking. If additional information is needed to arrange your trip, we will explain what is required and why. Newsletter sign-up is optional and separate from a tour inquiry.

Website and service providers

This website is hosted on Squarespace. Inquiry submissions are processed through Squarespace and notifications are sent to our business inbox. Our forms use Google reCAPTCHA to help prevent spam. These services may process technical information, such as browser and device details, under their own privacy policies. Contacting us through WhatsApp also involves WhatsApp’s services and privacy practices.

When arranging a trip requires sharing information with a guide, accommodation provider, or other tour partner, the information shared should be limited to what is needed for that service. Please contact us before sending sensitive information so we can discuss a suitable way to provide it.

Cookies

Squarespace and embedded services may use cookies and similar technologies to support website functionality, security, and measurement. You can manage cookies in your browser; blocking some cookies may affect website features.

Your choices and rights

You may ask to access, correct, or update your personal information; request information about its use or evidence of your authorization; and request deletion or withdraw authorization where applicable. Some information may need to be retained to meet legal or contractual obligations. You may also raise a complaint with Colombia’s Superintendence of Industry and Commerce.

To make a request, email info@colombiaexploring.com with the subject “Privacy request.” Describe your request and provide enough information for us to identify the relevant inquiry or booking. We may need to verify your identity before disclosing or changing personal information.

Newsletters

Choose whether to sign up for news and updates. You can withdraw your newsletter consent using the unsubscribe option in an email or by contacting us.
